Work Orders are a great tool for communicating to your team what work needs to be done. Once released, the information about the work as well as driving directions become available in the Mobile app and team members can see their work instructions and get to work faster.
But what if you want to assign the work to a specific operator? We can do that.

Creating the Work Order
Production > Manage Work Orders > New Work Order
Create a Work Order with tasks
Select "Applicator" wanted - this can be left as internal (default) for your internal employees or you can select a supplier if you want to assign to a group of operators or to a specific Supplier.
New "Operator" field - here you can either leave to 'All' or select one or multiple operators
After you have created your tasks list, you are now able to assign by selecting specific Operator(s) next to each field.
Tasks can then be released in bulk or individually as you are ready to have the work completed.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: Can I assign work to a specific operator?
A: Yes, the operator can use filters on the Mobile app to see only their tasks.
Q: Can one operator see another operator's assigned work?
A: Yes, they will need to include that person in the filter. This allows you to pivot as things change on farm if the work has been previously assigned to an operator who is unavailable.
Q: Can an operator complete/record work assigned to another operator?
A: Yes, anyone can complete the work assigned to any operator. Things change on farm and this is part of allowing operations to continue on smoothly when those changes happen in real time.
Q: Can I filter by applicator and operator in the mobile app?
A: At this time, you can either use the applicator filter OR the operator filter, but they cannot be used simultaneously.
