We know that when delivering against a contract, the last load is never spot on to close that specific contract. So we've added options within the settlement process to make rolling the overage to another contract much easier.

You now have three options when you have a delivery overage:

  1. Adjust current contract to delivered amount

  2. Roll to an existing contract (new)

  3. Roll to a new contract (new)

Adjust current contract to delivered amount

When you have an overage on a contract, and the customer allowed that overage to go on the current contract, select the option on the lower left of the page to "Adjust current contract to delivered amount".

Roll to an existing contract

Or if there's another contract you can roll the overage to, just select 'Roll overage to another contract' and then select the contract to roll it into.

Roll to a new contract

Or, if you need to create a new contract for the overage, select 'Roll to another contract', then 'Create Contract'. The contract page will auto populate with info from the delivery receipt making it easy to create this contract right from the settlement page. And if you do a lot of spot contracts, this is a fast and convenient way to create those.
