We've made several enhancements to make it easier to prepare for the new crop year:
Use last year's actual prices as this year's defaults
Simplified Block setup page
Copy PO receipt costs as your default costs
Here's a way to easily give yourself better input cost prices for budgeting. If you use Purchasing, you can now use 2023's actual PO receipt costs as your starting point for default costs for 2024. On the Inputs page, go to bulk editing of default costs:
Then select Use PO Receipt Cost:
After that you may also use the % tool to adjust all prices up or down. And you can edit individual prices as well.
Block Setup Page has been simplified
When you're editing or setting up blocks it's now easier to work with that page. We've removed unused attributes from the Blocks page. And when you add a crop, the date range intelligently auto fills:
