These are your Operational Reports that define what work was done, when, and which fields have been left out. Each has its specific purpose:

  • Field Activity Summary is the bread and butter report that shows everything happening on the field, with a breakdown of your field’s cost per acre.

  • Inputs: Summary/Detail shows how much of (and where) an input has been applied, with cost information for each input. Can be generated in summary form or with more details included.

  • Planting: Summary/Detail, Crop Protection, and Fertilizer Application reports focus on specific input types that have been applied (seed, chemicals, fertilizer).

  • The Planting Summary also shows which fields have yet to be planted.

  • FSA Acreage by Farm details which crops have been planted on your fields, with FSA Farm and Tract IDs.

  • Field Application Report lists all production tickets no matter where they were created, either ordered by ticket number or product.

  • Ticket Notes Report shows you every note written on a ticket, whether mobile or back office

Field Activity Summary

This report gives a complete list by field, of all activities and inputs, along with a calculated cost per acre. This is a key report that many widgets and other reports are based on. PRODUCTION > FIELD ACTIVITY REPORTS > Summary.

Benefits:

  • Compare cost per acre among different fields.

  • Provides a complete audit of activities for a field by crop year.

  • Reports may be generated by Crop Type or Crop for field comparisons.

  • Discover errors in application rates and/or input costs, which are easily identified on this report by reviewing cost per acre data.

Input Detail Report & Input Summary Report

These two reports sort all your activities by inputs, showing how much has been applied and where, and then combines it with costing information for each input. PRODUCTION > FIELD ACTIVITY REPORTS > "Inputs: Summary" or "Inputs: Summary / Details".

Benefits:

  • Determine every field where a specific input was used.

  • Check application date range for a specific input.

  • Provide information on the rates/acre and total applied for each input.

  • Isolate the cost/acre for a specific input, either across your operation or on a single farm.

  • Identify the total amount spent on each applied input.

Planting: Detail

Planting Detail sorts your planting records by crop, showing all essential information like variety planted, rate per acre, and whether the ticket was a replant. PRODUCTION > FIELD ACTIVITY REPORTS > Planting: Summary/ Detail.

Benefits:

  • Keep track of which varieties were planted on which fields.

  • Track your operators’ planting efficiency.

  • Check each field’s rate per acre, by crop.

  • Useful in FSA reporting (along with the FSA by Acreage report).

Fertilizer Application Detail

The Fertilizer Application Detail report shows what fertilizers have been applied to each field and also divides your fertilizers by their NPKS, showing the total amount of elements added. PRODUCTION > FIELD ACTIVITY REPORTS > Fertilizer Application Detail.

Benefits:

  • Determine all fertilizer applications for a Crop Year by field.

  • See which fertilizers were applied to each field, and when.

  • Compares all fertilizers by summing their ingredients.

Crop Protection

The Crop Protection Report displays all chemical applications by field (not just from spraying tickets, but all ticket types). It includes all information needed for compliance reporting such as restricted use details, users’ Certification numbers, weather conditions, and cleanout records. PRODUCTION > FIELD ACTIVITY REPORTS > Crop Protection.

Benefits:

  • Easy compliance reporting.

  • Access weather records in one place.

  • Compare chemical application rates and totals.

Planting Summary - Report

Unlike Planting Detail, the Summary is more of an operational report. Filtered by field, the report shows which fields have been completed, started (in progress), or still need to be planted. PRODUCTION > FIELD ACTIVITY REPORTS > Planting: Summary.

Benefits:

  • See which fields still need to be planted or are in progress.

  • Highlight differences between Field Acres, Planned Acres and Acres Applied.

  • Report on each field’s plant date (and replant date).

Tip: There may be differences between “Field Acres” (the entire area of the field), “Acres Planned” (what’s referred to as the Planted Acres for that crop on the Field’s setup page) and “Acres Applied” (the acres on the ticket itself). You may especially not want differences between those last two. You’ll need to adjust your Field’s setup page to reflect a 100% completion.

FSA Acreage By Farm

The FSA acreage report is meant to facilitate discussions with your FSA agent in June or July. It shows your crops and dates by field, represented by FSA Field and Tract ID. (Production > Field Activity Reports > FSA Acreage By Farm)

Benefit:

  • After planting is completed for the crop year, use this report to send to FSA!

Tip: Initially, setting up FSA reporting is time consuming work. If you are new to Conservis and interested in using the FSA reporting, ask your CSM for a sample FSA report you can take to your FSA office to get approval on the format. Individual FSA offices may prefer reporting in different formats and this will give you confidence that the report you generate through Conservis will meet the needs of your FSA agent.

Production Log Reports

These reports are basic exports of your information. Similar to Harvest Logs, these are often the best way to export large amounts of data out of the system at once.

  • The Field Application Report lists all production tickets no matter where they were created, either ordered by ticket number or product.

  • The Ticket Notes Report will show you every note that was written on a handheld or back-office ticket.
