Why this is important for data quality
You know how the crop you end up planting can change due to to weather, commodity prices, or other factors. Now you can quickly update field setups to reflect what you actually did. And you can also easily ensure all production tickets also have the correct crop. This is critical for accurate reporting. Plus you can update the planted acres on field setup to reflect the actual acres; since that's the source for most per acre reporting in Conservis that will give you the most accurate per acre costs. All this can be done with the new Crop & Acre Update Tool. You can even use "bulk edit" to correct all your fields in one step.
Where to find it
In the Fields page, select this new button:
Issues are highlighted
For each field, if there are crop or acre mismatches these issues are highlighted
Correct inline or use Bulk Edit
Click the cell, or the pen on the right, to edit a field's content; click Save when done editing:
If tillage or other tickets have a crop mismatch with the planting ticket, you'll see this "not planted" indication:
Click View Tickets to easily correct the crop on those tickets:
Adjust the planted acres on field setup to match the actual acres on the planted ticket:
