Utilizing Grain Cart Scales & Moisture Testers

iOS: If you use Moisture testers at your bin sites instead of Truck scales, you’ll put in a zero weight on your Field to Storage tickets and the system will substitute the Grain Cart weight into your Field to Storage ticket on the computer.

iOS users will need to use the Legacy App

Android: If you use Moisture testers at your bin sites instead of Truck scales, your mobile user will not even see the weight field when creating a Field to Storage ticket.

The system will then link/match to your Grain Cart ticket and use that weight for the Field to Storage ticket.

Android user will be able to use the Conservis - Row Crops App

Setting up mobile device to allow for zero weights - iOS

  • Log into the Harvest app.

  • Click Tools.

  • Enter the mobile settings password (shared among all mobile devices, this can be reset on the Harvest Settings page on the computer).

  • Check the box that says Allow Zero Weight Field to Storage Ticket.

  • Repeat for all mobile devices that will need to make Field to Storage tickets.

Setting up mobile device to allow for zero weights - Android

  • in the backoffice, go to Harvest -> Settings

  • Go down and select "Edit"

  • On the first charge under "Harvest Mobile Settings" on Field to Storage Ticket, select "Allow Zero Weight"

  • Select Save

Android: Grain Cart Ticket on the Conservis - Row Crops Mobile App

  • Open the Conservis - Row Crops App.

  • Make sure Harvest is selected (bottom right tab)

  • Click the + symbol to create a ticket

  • Select Cart Ticket to Storage ticket

  • Fill out all required fields:

    • If you have a Bluetooth adapter attached to your scale head, you should see a blue Bluetooth icon. Click the icon after you’ve emptied your load into the semi.

    • Click Field Complete if it’s the last load on the field.

    • Under Split Ticket, it’s very important to select whether this is the only grain cart load going into the semi (Full Truck), or if it’s the first load going into the semi, or an additional load.

  • Click Submit.

If you have any questions about your load, you can click on the icon in the top left and view "my activity" to view details. You can also enter this ticket or any other on the computer if you don’t enter it on the mobile device. HARVEST > GRAIN TICKETS > Grain Cart.

Field To Storage Ticket on Conservis - Harvest App

  • Open the Harvest App.

  • If using My Data, click the black bar at the top of the page to enter your equipment, the Field you’re working in, and the moisture (if you have it). Click Save.

  • Click Field to Storage Ticket.

  • Fill out all required fields:

    • Fill in a “0” for weight.

    • If you have a Bluetooth adapter attached to your moisture tester, you should see a blue Bluetooth icon next to the moisture area. Click that icon to bring in the moisture from the GAC once it’s ready.

    • Fill out both the Dump Location (i.e. site) and Storage Bin.

    • Click Field Complete if it’s the last load from that field.

    • Check Field Ownership Override if the load’s ownership is different from the normal ownership on the field. For instance, a field may have a 50% split between two entities, but this load may belong 100% to one owner. Check the box to review the load’s default ownership.

  • Click Submit.

Tip: If you’re using a Bluetooth adapter with your moisture tester or GAC, we highly recommend you have a single person at your scalehouse making all the tickets. If you want your truck operators to make tickets, it’s going to work better not to use a Bluetooth adapter.
