Typically field records are added to Conservis using the Mobile App. However, if you need to add records of completed activities in the back office, don’t use Work Orders, because those are specifically designed to send instructions to your operators. You can bypass that step by simply creating a ticket (for multiple fields) on the Desktop.
Creating Production tickets in the Back Office
To create a new ticket:
Select PRODUCTION > ACTIVITIES > Production.
Click on the blue New Ticket button. Choose what type of activity ticket to create.
Enter the required information -
Crop Year - This will default to the current default year in Conservis. Usually you won't need to change this.
Start and End Date/Time - These will automatically pre-fill.
Tip: If your ticket is within two weeks of the current date, Conservis will append weather information automatically.
Field - When you select the field, the field crop and planted acres from field setup auto fill and Field Complete is checked. Uncheck this box if the activity (planting, spreading, spraying, etc.) is not complete for the season on this field.
Equipment - select which equipment performed the work
Operator - select the operator who completed the work
Click the blue “Add Input” link to add inputs. You can choose to fill in the rate applied or totals.
Depending on the type of ticket you are creating, there may be other required fields, such as variety on a planting ticket. Be sure to fill those in, but know that Conservis will let you know if you try to move on without filling in a required section.
To apply this activity to multiple fields: Click the “Batch Create (Add fields) ” button.
Select all the fields this ticket should be applied to, then choose Next.
Type in the Acres for each field (or, if you are having the system pre-fill the acres, simply check they’re accurate). Click Next
Add Rates/Totals (or, if you are having the system pre-fill the rates/totals simply check they are accurate).
Click Assign.
Once you have completely filled in the ticket and applied to all applicable fields,
click Create.
This will create one ticket for every field you’ve chosen.
